Kesha Buys Venice Home for $1.65 Million

Kesha, the "Tik Tok" hitmaker, has reportedly closed on a cozy colorful home in Venice, Calif., for $1.65 million.

Peter Lorimer of Peter Lorimer Group Estates represented Kesha in the deal.

Property records show that the residence was listed in February, this year, for $1.87 million. The house was pricechopped several times, last listing for $1.74 million. However, Kesha got the residence for much lesser than the reduced asking.

The home is a 1,146-square-foot single-family home, comprising of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Built in 1925, the home boasts of Spanish architecture and modern, interiors.

Featuring hardwood and stone-tiled flooring, the home has high drywall ceilings, large glass windows and wooden doors with arched hallways.

There is a formal living area, a separate dining space, a modern kitchen with chess-board flooring and custom cabinetry.

The house also has a study and the master suite offers direct access to the mature gardens outside.

There is a one-car parking garage that can also be used as a studio.

The listing describes the home as a "pristine" bungalow with vintage detailing in the interiors. The home offers "California living at its best!"

In a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show, Kesha revealed that when she was a struggling artist, she once broke into "Purple Rain" singer Prince's house just to make sure her music reaches the right hands.

"So I snuck under the fence and then I just trolloped up the mountain and the door was open, it was unlocked - which was basically an invitation, so I walked in and everything was purple velvet, so I was very pleased that my fantasy had come true and that there was, in fact, purple velvet everywhere," she explained on how she broke into the house.

We just hope nobody breaks into Kesha's new house.
