Avid fans and die-hard gamers of the popular racing video game " Grand Theft Auto 5" have something to cheer about. This is after game developer Rockstar announced on Thursday that it will roll out a new update to the game. Called the "2015 Festive Surprise Christmas Update," it will bring new contents such as clothes, cars, and masks, among others, a report from iDigital Times said.
"As far as clothing options go, the Festive Surprise update gives both men and women the ability to dress up as Santa Claus. Included is a pair of black boots, some long john-style underpants, red outer pants, a red flannel shirt, and a nice red coat. If you want to go the dark and twisted side of things, also included for players are new hands that make it look like you're the Beast from the Hunt the Beast Freemode game," the report said.
According to the report, aside from the game's new clothing options, players will also be able to select and use the game's new 15 masks. These masks range from "disgruntled elves and drunken Santa heads to angry Gingerbread men and even a dead turkey." They can also wear several Beast masks and hands. And to feel the yuletide spirit, the game features "a festive Beast mask with a Santa hat on."
"It has been reported that currently, the game testers are testing the real content for the next DLC on their test systems to make sure that it does not have any glitches and bugs in the final product prior to its release for the public. According to reports, a few of the most-anticipated 'GTA 5' DLCs for the ensuing Christmas holiday season comprise Lowriders DLC 2.0, Festive Surprise 3.0 or Christmas DLC and Apartments Customisation DLC. While nothing is sure about the content of the ensuing DLC, it is more or less certain that the content will feature some adversary game modes counting Extraction and Beast vs Slasher," MNR Daily said.
