Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs' wedding off? Did the "Twilight" star and the "Water Me" singer now calling off their big engagement?
After the controversies that hit the couple in the recent months, one sure thing that naysayers are questioning is the resume of their wedding plans. Although the 29-year-old "Lost City of Z" star has stayed quim regarding the issues about his engagement with FKA Twigs, did the two really decide to end their engagement?
In the late part of Aug. 2015, FKA Twigs was asked about her engagement with Pattinson and the "Young Turks" singer said in reply,
"Who told you I was getting married?" FKA Twigs told the outlet. "You might read somewhere I'm a monkey and it doesn't mean I am."
The 27-year-old fiancee of Pattinson even added in her interview with The Sunday Times, "Do you know what I mean? I honestly didn't give a s--- about any of this stuff until about two years ago. I don't know whether it's my age - I'm going to be 28 in January - but all of a sudden I started thinking that if I had a daughter, it is gonna be terrifying."
Meanwhile VCPost included in their article the possibilities of how the two celebrities ended up not going through their engagement for now. One of which is the apparent "fame-hungry" attitude of Pattinson's fiancee FKA Twigs and the recurring issue of Pattinson's past romance with then "Twilight" co-star and gf Kristen Stewart.
"Twigs' changing attitude has been a key part of why they initially delayed their wedding. Robert noticed that FKA Twigs, born Tahliah Debrett Barnett, went from wanting a small, pub-style wedding to a grand spectacle filled with her new celebrity pals," according to CDL.
Apart from this, another rumor indicates that the "Twilight" star is still into his ex-beau and co-star Kristen Stewart.
