"Persona 5' Developers Feeling Pressured From Fans, Release Date Scheduled For 2016

"Persona 5" has been in development for five years now and after a couple of years that Atlus has been teasing fans about it, they finally felt so pressured that the game is said to have been slated for release next year.

This RPG from Atlus, according to China Topix, has been in development for five years now and to the disappointment of its many fans, "Persona 5" won't be coming out this year. Since Fans have been insistently asking for details on the release date or plot of this "Persona 5" game, the developers at Atlus guarantees that the title is still on board and will eventually be released.

"Persona 5" is the fifth installment in the series, the last release was "Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4" in 2008. According to the game's Wikia, this upcoming game will "discuss the hardships of modern-day society and feature characters that are restrained by the rules set by this society."

The trailer that Altus has released for the "Persona 5" was widely accepted positively that, according to Gaming Bolt, the developers at Altus felt even more pressured by the fans' reactions. "Persona 5" Game Director Katsura Hashino then said, ""It's been a massive outpouring and we're really happy to see people are into it as much as they are."

He continued, "It's a huge relief to all of us on the team to have things turn out that way. Still, it's also indicative that the anticipation is running really high among people who have enjoyed our work up until now, so it's not without some pressure coming our way, too."

And as far as fans impressions go, series art designer Shigenori Soejima said , ""We've gotten a lot of kind people saying that the game's even more stylish than what we've done before." Then, according to Gaming Bolt, notes that the concept of personas and masks are deeply rooted in "Persona 5" and its story.

And as a result of the pressure that fans have been putting on Atlus, the game is said to be scheduled for release on PS4 and PS3 sometime in 2016.
