The reason behind Deadmau5 and Skrillex's bad blood has just been revealed. Deadmau5 dropped his rant video attacking Justin Bieber and calling the artist a little "meat puppet" for taking all the credit for "Purpose." Watch the video!
Last December 16, Deadmau5 posted a video on his YouTube channel that clarified Bieber has nothing to do with making his new album "Purpose" a hit.
In the video, Deadmau5 said, "I can accept that his album is probably good, I have no qualms with that. I know decent production when I hear it. That's not what I'm mad about. What I'm mad about is that none of it is this little f-king d-khead's. You get what I'm saying? 'This is my album.' No, it's not your f-king album. It's Skrillex's f-king album. It's f-king god-knows-who's album."
He continued, "It's this guy's album, and then you going 'hum ha hum ha.' Not even to s-t you even f-king wrote. It f-king took you four other f-king guys to write that, too. You're just a little meat puppet, dude. And that's what irritates me; that's what gets my f-king goat."
At one point in the video, he also addressed Bieber saying he should only get the credit he deserves. "I can credit you, to be able to hold a pitch on two syllables throughout an entire 75-minute long f-cking album," Deadmau5 dissed.
For the past six months, Deadmau5 and Skrillex have been attacking each other on Twitter, confusing their fans about the true reason behind their fight. The EDM producer previously emphasized that he doesn't have a problem with Skrillex, but with the collaboration he did with Bieber. After Skrillex and Bieber's hit "Where Are U Now" was released in June 2015, he called their hit "some sh-t." His comment angered Skrillex and Diplo's group and they blasted back at Deadmau5 calling him a "washed up a-hole."
