Backstreet Boy AJ McLean Wants $1.79 Million for Los Feliz Home

A.J. McLean, the "Backstreet Boys" band member, has reportedly put his home in Los Feliz for sale and is asking $1.79 million for it.

Public records show that this isn't the first time the home has come up for sale. The home went on and off the market a couple of times in 2011, but didn't return again until now.

McLean bought the home in 2001 for $430,000. The Los Angeles Times first reported the listing noting that Adam Sires and Michael Nourmand of Nourmand & Associates are marketing the property.

The residence in question here is a 3,244-square-foot single-family home, comprising of three bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Interiors of the home feature dark hardwood and stone-tiled flooring, high beamed and drywall ceilings along with glass windows and large doors.

Encompassed in a spacious floor plan is a formal living room, a modern kitchen with granite counter-tops and custom storage. A private study and an art studio are also a part of the property. The master suite has a luxury en-suite bathroom and walk-in closets as well.

Outside, the house has covered patio that leads out to the sitting area. There is a two-car parking garage as well.

The listing describes the home as a "three-story Mediterranean retreat" with "over 3,000 sq ft of open living space with expansive indoor/outdoor space perfect for entertaining."

McLean ditched the Los Feliz digs for his Malibu one which offers 3,500 square feet of living space, three bedrooms, four bathrooms and a recording studio. It was also featured on MTV Cribs.

In more "Backstreet Boys" news, the band recently cancelled their performance in Israel on account of the violence pursuing in the country.

"We've got the most loyal fans down there, who have been waiting for years for us to come," McLean said in an interview with TMZ adding that the reason was "safety."

"...and all of us have families. Now, you can't even fly there. If they had kept the ceasefire, we may have still gone, but you just don't know and it's not really worth running that risk. But it sucks for all of our fans down there, but we will definitely be coming back next year."
