Austin Mahone's new album is said to be inspired by his former girl, Becky G. He had split with Becky G for months, but the two recorded songs before they ended things. With the release of Mahone's new album titled "This Is Not The Album" which consists of 19 tracks, one of the songs triggered speculations that the album was inspired by Becky G.
As what Hollywood Life reported, the Mahomies have been waiting for the release of Mahone's album for a long time. Surprisingly, the "What About Love" crooner revealed the good news on Dec.14 when he shared on his Facebook page that he's coming out with free songs with his album featuring his collaboration with Becky G. The mixtape also features other artists, including Chris Brown, Sage the Gemini and the up and coming hip hop duo, Kalin and Myles.
Mahone recorded the song "Rollin'" with the "Shower" singer. On Dec. 16, the 19-year-old announced his collaboration with her in a tweet. He wrote, Track 5- Rollin' feat. @iambeckyg #ThisIsNotTheAlbum. However, two hours after, Becky G tweeted, "I've never wanted to punch someone in the face this bad."
Seventeen reports that fans were wondering if Becky G was pertaining to Mahone for using their song in the album even after their split. The magazine claimed that it seemed like the 18-year-old was not thrilled at all that Mahone released the song now that they've already broken up. Mahone and Becky G broke up in August after dating for several months. Their collaboration is said to be a catchy song that tells how strong their bond was.
A day after Mahone's announcement of his new album, he also released teasers of video of each song that made the Mahomies more excited. Mahone's latest album is said to be his transition from pure pop to a hip hop-influenced sound similar to that of the "Loyal" singer, Chris Brown. The songs are available on wetransfer and SoundCloud.
