The "Metal Gear Solid" creator Hideo Kojima said he is planning to make the Metal Gear game title into a PC game which will be named "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain."
Tech Times reported that Kojima told IGN on his approach of his new company on the first game they're planning to create. According to him, he wanted to create something that is relatively small scale. This is because he doesn't want to have many people in the initial phase. Rather than focusing on the number of people he would have in his new company, he will prioritize the game creation instead.
"I want to create something that people would expect, but at the same time will have something new that people haven't seen before. It will be a complete game," Kojima said.
The "Metal Gear Solid" creator hasn't shared details about the new game, however, Yoji Shinkawa, the game art director, stated that they're working on a franchise with recognizable characters. Both of them wanted to create more recognizable and more beloved characters than before.
Sony's PlayStation division has signed an agreement to partner with Kojima Productions on the company's first game. "I will be taking on a new challenge by establishing my own independent studio, and I am thrilled to be able to embark on this journey with PlayStation, who I have continued to work with all these past years."
Kojima added, "I cannot wait to deliver, with PlayStation, a game that will become a compelling franchise."
So far, what the "Metal Gear Solid" gamers could expect from now is that there will be a new game to come under the banner of Kojima Productions somewhen. However, in the moment, there is no timed release yet since this will be then identified by PlayStation.
As Kojima previously announced, he is planning to revive the game from PC to PS4 console gameplay version for "Metal Gear Solid."
