Before the most anticipated premiere of "Game of Thrones" Season 6, actress Natalie Dormer talked about the possible fate of her character in the show.
In an interview with Time, Dormer revealed that her character Margaery will be facing Cersei (Lena Headly) now that she is back at the Keep. In Season 5, Margaery Tyrell was put in jail because of conspiracy of keeping her brother's dirty secret. Dormer revealed that Margaery will still be in jail in Season 6, but this time she will have a new scene partner.
During her interview for her new movie, "The Forest," she talked about the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones" and what she thought of the controversial scenes in Season 5, particularly Cersei's walk of shame. Dormer said that she thinks that the writers were brave enough to write that scene given that a lot of people would disagree or agree with the event. The actress revealed that fans should watch for her new "sparring partner" in Season 6 now that Cersei is out of jail.
Dormer added that the viewers should expect many "audacious choices" from the creators of the show that will surely cause more controversy. However, she cannot reveal more as she said that she tries to keep herself out of the loop on purpose. She also revealed that author George R.R. Martin is very much involved in creating the plotlines for the show.
In other news, Melty reports that the show's stars has posted on their social media accounts behind-the-scenes pictures from their set for Season 6. In one photo posted by Emilia Clarke, she can be seen with Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner. She wrote the caption, "#wrappingitupwithaview".
As of writing, there is still no specific premiere date for "Game of Thrones" Season 6 but it is said to air in April 2016.
