Teresa Giudice, one of the cast members of "Real Housewives of New Jersey", has reportedly listed her home in Towaco, N.J., for $3.99 million. News of the listing comes just days after she pled guilty to fraud with her husband Joe Giudice.
Teresa and Joe were both indicted by the U.S. federal Court for committing mortgage and other loan application frauds. They were accused of 41 counts of fraud initially, but Teresa pled guilty to four counts of fraud "including mail and wire fraud and three counts of bankruptcy fraud," People Magazine reported.
"Today I took responsibility for a series of mistakes I made several years ago ... I express remorse ... I am heartbroken this is affecting my family, especially my four young daughters who mean more to me than anything in this world," Teresa said in a statement to People.
Teresa and Joe have been badly caught in debt and therefore, the listing doesn't really come as a surprise. The couple bought the residence in 2002 for $530,000 and made several additions and renovations to the house. According to TMZ, the couple moved into the place only in 2008, right when "RHONJ" was beginning.
Currently, the home spans an area of 10,044 square feet, almost double the 5,000 square feet it initially was. The home now has six bedrooms and six bathrooms.
The stone stucco home sits on 3.5 private acres and is an embodiment of luxury. Interiors of the house boast of marble, stone-tiled and hardwood flooring along with high tray and drywall ceilings, large glass windows and wide hallways.
Guests are welcomed into a large hall through the entrance where they are met by a pair of Cinderella staircases.
There are formal living and dining areas, a gourmet eat-in kitchen with granite counter-tops and custom cabinetry. The home also has a study, lounge areas, a game room and play room.
The master bedroom has three walk-in-closets and an en-suite bathroom with steam showers and a soaking tub as well.
Outside, the home has an open patio overlooking ample greens and a pond. There is ample parking space as well.
