Final Fantasy XV and Persona 5 Will Be Released At the Same Time, Square Enix Asks Which Fans Prefer

"Final Fantasy XV" is rumored to be released alongside "Persona 5." Said rumor is based on the survey by Square Enix.

Square Enix recently had a 50-question survey where fans were asked about the upcoming game. The lengthy survey seemingly dropped a hint about the release of Final Fantasy XV.

Said information is hidden in the survey for Japanese fans. Questions include the sleeping habits and the three sizes of the fan, Dual Shockers noted. But apart from some funny questions, there was a question about "Persona 5."

The question is about the preference of the fans if they will purchase both Persona 5 and Final Fantasy XV. It reads, "If both titles were released at roughly the same time, which one would you prioritize (buying)?"

The options are "Persona 5," "Final Fantasy XV," and "I’ll buy both." Square Enix provided a hint that Final Fantasy XV will be released the same time as Persona 5 on Summer 2016.

Aside from that question, it also asks the gamers that if they intend to purchase Persona 5 why are they interested in the game. Choices are Because it’s a domestic (Japanese) RPG, Because the world is interesting, Because the characters are interesting, Because I like Atlus games, Because I like the Persona series, Because the promotion of the game sparked my interest, or Because I heard of the reputation of the game.

Apparently, Square Enix has shown interest on "Persona 5" which is one of the top games that are highly anticipated by gamers, set for release on March. It also shows that "the company is weighing release date options to maximize sales," Game Radar wrote.

"Final Fantasy XV" is currently in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One which is expected for release in 2016. Meanwhile, "Persona 5" will be released on Summer 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan, and sometime later in 2016 for North America.

But the report about the possible simultaneous release of "Final Fantasy XV" and "Persona 5" isn't confirmed yet and merely considered a rumor for now.
