"Fear the Walking Dead" is a success as its ratings were high. The season 2 would soon air by 2016 and surprises would soon greet the fans.
As per Yibada, during an interview with BT Mercedes Mason, who plays the role of Ofelia Salazar, shared that she would want some actors from the "The Walking Dead" do a crossover to their show, "Fear the Walking Dead."
Mason stated that she would want to see Daryl Dixon on their show to make their characters understand the zombie-filled world better.
"Daryl Dixon. I think that would be cool. All our characters are starting to understand what is happening in the world, but they are still very naïve to things, so to bring another alpha male into the show that is world weary would be fantastic,"
When she was asked which female character would she want to do a crossover, Mason chose the 33-year-old Melissa McBride who portrays the role of Carol Peletier.
"Even a strong woman like Carol would be a good addition to the series."
Though doing a crossover may excite the fans and may seem like a good idea, Gale Anne Hurd, the show's executive producer stated that it won't happen just yet.
Deadline reported that doing a crossover with "The Walking Dead" would not be a "good move" as "Fear the Walking Dead" is still raw. She mentioned that the series is still trying to establish itself in gathering fans and spectators alike.
She clearly stated that she would want the fans to see the difference of the closely related series "The Walking Dead" and "Fear the Walking Dead."
"Our group of survivors in 'The Walking Dead' hasn't even made it as far as Washington D.C. yet, in six seasons, and they are not that far away. So for the 'Fear' characters to make it across the country? For what? I mean why would you go there?"
"Fear the Walking Dead" season 2would be premiere on AMC next year. The exact date isn't announced yet.
