Granger, who plays at point forward and power forward positions too, started his career with the Indiana Pacers for most of his career. He was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers for a brief period but signed a two-year, $4.25 million contract with the Miami Heat in July this year.
Experts say that Granger's introduction to the team could prove super successful for the Heats.
"Although it hasn't been spoken about much since it happened, the signing of veteran small forward Danny Granger could be key for the Heat's success this season, especially when it comes to the rotation of the role players," Jared Doyle of Rant Sports wrote.
