David Arquette, the "Scream" actor who was once married to co-star Courtney Cox, has reportedly dropped $7.15 million on a plush mansion in South Plymouth, Los Angeles.

Spanning an area of 9,708 square feet, the single-family Tudor-style residence has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The architecture of the house has been "meticulously preserved" and restored throughout the years.

Currently, interiors of the house boast of light hardwood floors, vaulted wood-beam and drywall ceilings and French doors and windows.

The bedrooms are upstairs with the master suite enclosing a luxe master bath and separate his and her closets.

Arquette also recently bought the legendary Crazy Girls Club for $1.5 million and hopes to turn it into a burlesque club.

News of the purchase comes just two months after Arquette got engaged to on-and-off flame and now baby-mama Christina McLarty. Arquette reportedly proposed to McLarty at the Mastro's Ocean Club in Malibu in front of family and some friends.

In April this year, McLarty and Arquette welcomed their son Charlie West. He already has a 10-year-old daughter with Courtney Cox.

When confirming McLarty's pregnancy, Arquette told People magazine:

"I've done it once so there's not that fear that a first-time parent has because you just don't know what to expect. You have to have a lot of faith that you will be able to keep them safe and not mess them up too much."
