'Suits' Season 5 Spoilers: Mike Ross Bound For Prison

"Suits" Season 5 spoilers tease that in the winter premiere fans and viewers will see Mike Ross portrayed by Patrick J. Adams in a worse situation. Mike is set for jail as he has been sold out. During the August midseason finale, Mike was about to be arrested.

The Hollywood Reporter shared that after five seasons, Mike will imprisoned for fraud. However, things will be harder because they may have not bargained for a solid force to come and that is U.S. lawyer, Anita Gibbs, played by Leslie Hope.

In the new promo video for "Suits" Season 5, Anita made a promise that she will be the one to put Mike in jail. Anita said, "In case you think that your people are rushing down here to bail you out, you've got another thing coming."

According to Carter Matt, Gibbs' mission is to take Mike down for the crimes he committed and she will do everything in her power to achieve her goal.

Adam gushed that "Gibbs is a fascinating character because you want to take her for the villain in this story; she's coming after these characters that hopefully by this point our fans know and love."

However, Adams pointed out that Atty. Gibbs' actions are justified. He said, "She's doing something in the right. Mike Ross and Harvey Specter have pulled the wool over the eyes of all the people that they've worked for."

Adams also made it clear that even though his character is the focus of the storylines, other characters still have opportunities to rally around them. He explained, "It's not just Mike who is under threat but the entire firm. All these characters have to completely rally together against the sort of mountain of evidence that is going to present itself at trial."

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Aaron Korsh, the show's showrunner, revealed that with Mike being in jail will not only jeopardized his future, but so as the future of the people who works for him and knew about his secret.

"Suits" Season 5 is set to return on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016 at 10 p.m. on USA.
