TV Line shared its detailed TV calendar for the month of January 2016 including premiere dates of new TV series.
For the first month of 2016, almost 60 brand-new shows will debut on broadcast, cable and streaming networks.
Aside from TV shows, several award-giving organizations will broadcast their annual events in January. These includes the People's Choice Awards (Jan. 6, at 9 p.m. on CBS), Golden Globes (Jan. 10, at 8 p.m. on NBC), Critics Choice Awards (Jan. 17 on A&E) and the Screen Actors Guild Awards (Jan. 30, at 8 p.m. on TNT and CBS.
FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY
"Sherlock: The Abominable Bride" premieres on Friday, Jan. 1, at 9 p.m. on PBS.
"Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life premieres on Sunday, Jan. 3, at 8:30 p.m. on FOX.
"Bordertown" premieres on Sunday, Jan. 3, at 9:30 p.m. on FOX.
"Superhuman" premieres on Monday, Jan. 4. at 8 p.m. on FOX.
"Superstore" premieres on Monday, Jan 4. at 8 p.m. on NBC.
"Telenovela" premieres on Monday, Jan. 4, at 8:30 p.m. on NBC.
"The Shannara Chronicles" two-hour episode premieres on Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
