Renewed or Cancelled 2015: 'Librarians,' 'Legends,' 'Red Oaks' and More

Here's the list of the latest TV series that got renewed or cancelled this week.

We only got only few weeks of 2015 and a lot of TV networks have finally spoken over the performances of various TV shows included in the 2015-2016 TV season.

NBC

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the live variety series starring award-winning thespian and former "How I Met Your Mother" cast member Neil Patrick Harris has been cancelled.

"Best Time Ever With Neil Patrick Harris," which premiered on Sept. 15, is based on the UK show “Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway." It is produced by ITV America.

Described as NBC's "ambitious" attempt on a live variety show, "Best Time Ever" garnered only moderate success against another live musical themed show, "The Wiz."

TNT

The cable network has recently on a roll as it revealed three renewed series and another set of three cancelled shows.

According to Deadline, TNT renewed action adventure "The Librarians" and the procedural series "Murder In The First" for the second season. They also renewed the procedural spin-off series "Major Crimes" for the fifth season.

In another article from Deadline, the network has axed two of its freshman series "Public Morals" from Ed Burns and the action series "Agent X" starring Jeff Heffner and Sharon Stone.

Amazon
Slash Film reported that the streaming service has ordered another season of the Ridley Scott-produced series, "The Man in High Castle." The series was adapted from a post-apocalyptic dystopian novel from Phillip K. Dick. The news was announced after the freshman series got a lot of positive buzz after airing the first two episodes.

Amazon also announced the renewal of currently on-going series including Steven Soderbergh's coming-of-age "Red Oaks and "Hand of God" starring Ron Perlman.

HULU

The Hollywood Reporter exclusively learned that Hulu has renewed its first original scripted series, "East Los High" for the fourth time. It stood out having an all-Latino cast and crew set in an English-language series.

The outlet also reported that the animated series "The Awesomes" from former SNL member Seth Meyers and Mike Shoemaker will have to transfer to another network.
