'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Star Kim Richards Gets a New Reality Show, Earns $75,000

"Real Housewives" alum Kim Richards is returning to television with her own reality show, Entertainment Tonight reported. The 51-year-old socialite is filming a new show with her 20-year-old daughter, which reportedly earns her a cool $75,000.

"Kim is getting $75,000 to appear on a new reality show with her daughter Kimberly [Jackson]," a source revealed to Radar Online. "And Kimberly is getting $25,000 too."

Accordingly, Kim is in a dire financial situation since leaving "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" after its fifth season. The troubled reality star got into a series of controversies following her alcohol addiction, and her sisters Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton reportedly also cut her off. Last October, sources reported that Kim is looking "sober and happy."

The $75,000 may seem to be a lot of money, but this is a far cry from her rumored $250,000 paycheck on "RHBH." However, for Kim, this comeback may be what she needs.

"She's desperate for money. She has to take anything that comes her way and this reality show seemed like a perfect quick fix," the source added.

The new reality show will be featuring mothers and daughters, and will provide counselling in between heavy doses of drama. While the title and the network have not been announced, it was confirmed that other reality stars will be joining as well, including "The Hills" star Heidi Montag and Natalie Nunn of "Bad Girls Club," along with their mothers.

Meanwhile, another report from Radar Online revealed that Kim is also slated to appear on upcoming episodes of "RHBH" as a guest.

"Kim is looking really, really good right now. She was thriving when we filmed with her and she was sober," co-star Lisa Vanderpump said. "The fact that she took the time to focus her energy on her sobriety and health rather than on a reality television show is great."
