Vince Vaughn, the "Wedding Crashers" actor, has reportedly re-listed his triplex penthouse in the Palmolive building in Chicago for $14.9 million.
Curbed Chicago first reported the news noting that this is the third price chopper for the luxury residence. The triplex condo has five bedrooms and four full and four half bathrooms.
Vaughn purchased the 12,000-square-foot, 19-room apartment in 2006 for $12 million and added one floor to it. He first put it for sale privately in 2012 for a whopping $24.7 million, and why not.
The comedic actor thought the price appropriate for the luxury home considering it has the original Playboy office that Hugh Hefner once used. It also has a full floor dedicated to complete entertainment with a theater, a game room and a billiards room.
However, it officially listed for $18.4 million later that year. But still sitting unclaimed, this is the latest round of price cuts for the magnificent house.
The Palmolive Building home is not the only residence that Vaughn owns in the area. He also has a townhouse that he was renting out for $9,500 a month in July last year. Vaughn put the place up for rent first in 2009 for $9500 then too.
But price cuts seem to be a regular thing for the funnyman. Failing to find tenants, he slashed down the price thrice before finding a renter who took it for $7000 a month.
Vaughn purchased a $3.9 million residence in the posh hill-town of La Canada Flintridge in San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles last year, just before he welcomed his baby girl with wife, Kyla Webber.
This year too, Vaughn made property headlines with two purchases. In March it was revealed that he purchased former University of Southern California coach Lane Kiffin's Manhattan Beach, Calif., residence for $6.5 million.
More recently in August, it was reported that he was the buyer of Kate Bosworth's Los Angeles house for $2.37 million.
