Anthony Henry, the former NFL cornerback who also happens to be a movie producer, just dropped $2.59 million on a contemporary pad in Hollywood hills, Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Times broke news of the deal noting that Jordan Cohen of Re/Max Olson & Associates represented Henry in the deal. The sellers were assisted by Jennifer Okhovat of John Aaroe Group.
Public records show that the home first hit the market in 2013 and was delisted in October, that year. It resurfaced in July this year again for $2.69 million and underwent a two price changes before finally selling for the $2.59 million.
Henry, who was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 2001, left his athletic career to pursue one in the field of entertainment. In 2013, the star cornerback appeared in the film "Goat" and also launched his own music magazine.
And what better place to be in other than Los Angeles when one is in show business.
Henry's new house is a sleek 4,329-square-foot single-family house that has five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms.
Interiors of the home feature dark hardwood flooring, high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass windows and slider doors.
Encompassed in a spacious floor plan is an open concept living room and kitchen. The living area has a fireplace and the modern kitchen has a breakfast bar and custom cabinetry.
A separate dining room completes the lower level.
A wood-step-and-glass-railing staircase leads to the upper level that has a seating area, the master suite with walk-in closets, a huge en-suite bath and a deck opening out from the room.
The guest bedrooms and a study complete the upper level.
Outside, the house has a covered patio, a resort-style pool with a detached spa and ample parking space as well.
The listing described the place as an architectural residence that features "exquisite design and sophisticated finishes in one of the most coveted locations in Hollywood."
