After the confirmation of the addition of the character Negan, many are now questioning the fate of the characters in "The Walking Dead" Season 6.
It was earlier confirmed that Jeffrey Dean Morgan will play the new villain in the show, and based on the story in the comic books, other characters' lives might be in trouble. In the comics, Negan kills Glenn, and it could be the most disturbing scenes in the show. Although Glenn's death has been predicted in the past, producers are still known to deviate from the original story.
Youth Health Mag reports that instead of Glenn, Lauren Cohan's Maggie might be killed in the next part of the season. According to the site, speculations rose when Cohan was seen sporting a short bob in a recent event. Many think that her new hairstyle hinted that she might be leaving the show.
However, many sources don't think that Cohan's haircut does not mean Maggie won't be returning for the second part of Season 6 in February. Some fans think though that the producers of the show may consider killing Maggie off, considering that she is now pregnant, and her death might just spark a new twist to the show. This is reportedly in line with the producers' and the actors' earlier confirmation that the second part of Season 6 will absolutely be darker.
Meanwhile, International Business Times reports that Norman Reedus' character Daryl will still survive in the second part of the season. This is after many people speculated that he might be killed off in Season 6. In an interview with writer Scott M. Gimple, he confirmed that Daryl is safe and that fans will see much more of the character in the second half of the season.
"The Walking Dead" Season 6 will return on Feb. 14 on AMC.
