Colbie Caillat, the "Bubbly" hitmaker, has reportedly purchased a home in the Hidden Hills area of Los Angeles for $6.1 million after recently selling her Westlake Village home.
The Real Estalker (via Variety) broke news of the purchase. Public records show that the residence last sold for $2.39 million in 2006.
It first came up on the market in 2007 and went on and off several times. It last listed in March, this year and closed transaction Aug. 20, 2014.
The residence is an 8,400-square-foot single-family home that has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
Interiors of the residence boast of hardwood floorings, floor-to-ceiling glass windows and slider doors and vaulted exposed wood beam ceilings.
The spacious home has a formal living room, a large modern kitchen with a center island and granite countertops. A dining room, a family room and theater are also a part of the property. The master bedroom has an expansive en-suite bathroom and walk-in closets.
Outside, the house has an open patio, a barbecue area with an outdoor kitchen, a resort-style pool with a spa and ample greens. There is an organic kitchen garden too.

News of the purchase comes just after Caillat sold off her Westlake Village home for $1.6 million. Caillat put the home on the market for $1.79 million in July, this year. Although the home sold well below the asking price, she neither profited nor took a loss on the sale because she had purchased the place for the same price in 2010. Check out that residence here.
Caillat also sold the Tarzana home that she and her parents lived in.
The residence in Tarzana sold for $1.3 million in March, this year. Caillat and her parents listed the property for $1.299 million and took it on and off the market changing the price several times.
Caillat reportedly wrote songs of her album "Breakthrough" in the house. Parts of the video of "Bubbly" were shot in the house too.
"It (Bubbly) was shot in my hometown of Malibu and in Santa Barbara in southern California. It was just about being by the beach and having a wonderful day with a person you like. It captures that whole feeling," Caillat told Wilson County News in a previous interview.
The residence, a warm family home, was shown on MTV Cribs too. Take a look at the pictures of the residence here.
