Celebrity Real Estate: 50 Cent as the Landlord of His Mansion in Connecticut, Which He Wants Rented Out for $100,000 a Month

50 Cent has listed his mansion in Connecticut in 2007 for $18.5 million. The price of the 21-bedroom, 25-bathroom mansion of the singer in Farmington has been cut four times to $8.5 million and was still unable to find a buyer.

While the rapper has filed for bankruptcy this summer and given that the mansion has a maintenance cost of about $67,000 a month, this indicates that money is really tight for 50 Cent. And now he wants to rent it out for $100,000 a month.

That amount of money will give a chance to enjoy the indoor pool, basketball court, gym, and fully appointed "disco."

According to the listing, the property is "one of the few homes in Connecticut that have approved grounds for landing a helicopter which makes for easy access from or to New York City."

The Realtor report said wouldn't it be cool to know that the landlord is 50 Cent? Even after declaring bankruptcy, 50 Cent is still a household name. If tenants want to boast further, they can tell their friends that the mansion was previously owned by Mike Tyson.

All you need to do is pay the rent on time.

50 Cent whose real name is Curtis Jackson III filed for bankruptcy last summer after he was ordered by the court to pay a woman the amount of $7 million who said he posted her sex tape online.

It was revealed that 50 Cent spends around $72,000 a month on the house on the 17 acres of grounds which also includes $5,000 a month on gardening.

According to the report of the XXL Mag news, since the mansion of 50 Cent in Connecticut was listed on the market in 2007, and after unsuccessful attempts to sell it for $18.5 million, the Queens native has lowered the asking price to $8.5 million.

The rapper bought the mansion in 2003 for a reported $4.1 million from Mike Tyson but renovated it and spent around $6 to $10 million.
