‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ December DLC: ‘Season of Infamy’ Will Be Rolled Out On Dec. 22, Features New Batman and Batmobile Skins

Game developer Rocksteady Studios has officially announced on Monday that it will roll out new free downloadable content for its popular game "Batman: Arkham Knight." The developer said that the game will receive a new expansion which will be called the "Season of Infamy." Aside from this, the game's new DLC will also feature Batman and Batmobile skins based from the popular movie "The Dark Knight" by Christopher Nolan, a report from Gamespot said.

"This DLC is going to bring four new Most Wanted missions which will be of the same length as the Most Wanted missions that are already available in Arkham Knight. Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #5 is also included and it brings 6 TBC AR Challenges. The game's new DLC  is expected to come with a photo mosaic to give fans a sneak peek of what's next for the action-adventure video game," Ubergizmo reports.

PlayStation Lifestyle Net has listed the several missions that are expected to be rolled out in the game this December, which are as follows:

Season of Infamy: Most Wanted Expansion

  • Mission: Beneath The Surface (Killer Croc)
  • Mission: In From the Cold (Mister Freeze)
  • Mission: Wonderland (Mad Hatter)
  • Mission: Shadow War (Ra's Al Ghul)

"Mad Hatter is playing a sinister mind-game with Batman, and GCPD's finest are the pawns. Killer Croc has escaped from his maximum security cell and is wreaking havoc on a crashed airship. The League of Assassins has returned to Gotham City, but what is their motive and who is in charge? And Mister Freeze may be closer than ever to completing his life's work... but at what cost?" Rocksteady said, describing each mission as quoted in the report.

Latin Post said that "aside from the new missions to expect in the upcoming Batman Arkham Knight DLC, gamers will also be able to experience the 2009 Original Arkham Batmobile and drive it on race tracks. Similar to other downloadable Batmobiles, it will also be available for a conditional free-roam around the city of Gotham."
