"Game of Thrones" Season 6 is still months away but the production team can hardly keep a tight lid on teasers and just recently its very own Liam Cunningham has given some juicy teasers.
According to CarterMatt, since HBO has already gone ahead of the George R.R. Martin's books the upcoming season 6 is faced with high expectations from fans everywhere that the plot is going to be very interesting and unpredictable. Now fans can add the scoop coming from Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos Seaworth, in their list of spoilers for the upcoming season.
In a recent interview with The Paddock Magazine, the topic was mainly the actor's passion for Formula 1 racing. But questions related to "Game of Thrones" were inevitable. Describing season 6 of the HBO series, Cunningham said, "It is bigger, brasher, bolder and weirder. It's written by the two biggest fans of the books, so they treat the story with great delicacy, grace and with tremendous amount of love. So we're in safe hands. Kind of." And with that Cunningham just set the fans expectations way higher than it already is.
Also inevitable are the instances when people at the Formula 1 racing events still manage to ask about the highly acclaimed series. One could only imagine how much pressure that brings to Cunningham in terms of being careful not to spill the beans about the plot and especially about Jon Snow. So Liam said, "When I attended Silverstone and Monaco, the season was already airing, but the big stuff hadn't happened."
He continued, "Now I'm grabbed immediately and people are quizzing me. Each one of them go 'look, I have one question - the Jon Snow question.' Even Barack Obama said that to the directors of the show. And if they are not going to tell the President of the United States of America, I'm not going to tell anyone either (laughs)."
And speaking about fan reaction, he said, "I wish it was low-key... When I entered the Abu Dhabi circuit, I kept my phone on silent. But in five minutes Twitter was like 'Davos Seaworth is in Force India' - they don't even call me by my real name... Somebody even put up 'Westeros has come to Abu Dhabi' and then the Jon Snow questions were all over the place. I've read all the scripts of the show and I know exactly what's going to happen. Some people ask about it, others don't like to know. It was actually very funny and interesting to witness all these reactions."
