"Persona 5" has been in production for many years and is said to be released next year. With that, spoilers and teasers about the upcoming game emerge in the internet which makes fans of the game even more excited.
Gamers and fans had been inquiring about the release date of the game and Atlus said that the production is going smoothly and would be out in mid-2016.
With the release of the game's fifth installment, fans response was that the game seems fashionable and stylish instead of the traditional Japanese RPG. But the fans are sure that Atlus will never fail the fans.
Senior Designer Shigenory Soejima is unsure about the fan's response because the idea of the game is far from being fashionable. Many are also "hoping that the game designers would not go too far from its trailer, which many say works for the game," Chinatopix wrote.
"It's a huge relief to all of us on the team to have things turn out [great]. Still, it's also indicative that the anticipation is running really high among people who have enjoyed our work up until now, so it's not without some pressure coming our way, too," game director Katsura Hashino said in an interview with Gaming Bolt.
He also assured fans that they have no reason to worry, and that they are always listening to the reactions on the internet. Since the anticipation is this big, Atlus is "trying to turn pressure into positive motivation." Hashino added that "their goal is to find a way to let the fans experience freedom and thrills within the context of a game," N4BB reported.
Meanwhile, the most interesting character of the game is a cat named Morgana. Most reports refer to it as "she" but Atlus didn't reveal about the cat's gender yet.
"At first glance, you might assume [he or she is] merely the mascot character of this title, but [he or she is] quite well-informed on the strange “other world”; more so than the protagonist and his team. Morgana takes the role of a prideful instructor, and has a very particular set of standards for the expected aesthetics and conduct of a phantom thief. However, even Morgana has no idea of [his or her] own origins, and quests in search of those answers," Hashino said in an interview with Game Informer.
"Persona 5" will be released exclusively on PS4 and PS3 somewhere during summer 2016.
