"Breaking Amish" cast member Rebecca Schmucker looks to be in further trouble following the cheating scandal the broke last week. A series of video has emerged, reportedly from a private investigator, suggesting that Schmucker is cheating on her husband Abe's best friend, Mike Spencer. But after addressing the issue, she had to delete her Facebook page.
Rebecca couldn't help but respond to the rumor through her Facebook page. "Let's just get one thing straight here, this whole cheating scandal is a flat out lie to benefit the television show and get more ratings," she wrote.
"The production company is the one who hired a private investigator to obtain that footage and that is just low. That was taken two weeks ago and it was also taken in the afternoon not in the morning. They obviously have hated us for multiple reasons but they do nothing but lie! You can believe what you want but to try and ruin a very amazing relationship between husband and wife and also with best friends is the most evil thing someone can do!"
Rebecca went on to defend herself, saying that Mike is like a brother she never had, and having known him for years, he is already a family.
But calling TLC as "liar" and "evil" might have gotten Rebecca in trouble with the network. Schmucker's Facebook page has now been deleted, but according to Starcasm, she released a statement first that she had to delete her previous posts.
She said, "Well this just proves that "Freedom of speech" is no longer legal because now I have to delete my previous post about our personal opinion and knowledge of the fake stories on the internet about us."
The 24-year-old reality star continued, "Thanks to the people who have spoken in our defense and of course to our friends and family who have spoken up and defended our honor. I will delete what I wrote but my opinion has not changed. Peace!"
Rebecca Schmucker recently revealed that "Breaking Amish" Season 5 is happening, but TLC is yet to make an official announcement about the reality show's renewal.
