Golf fans, listen up! Your #BubbaClaus is coming to town - well, not really - but PGA star Bubba Watson is coming to the real estate scene as he lists his Windermer, FL estate for $5.6 million, Realtor reports.
If you are a big golf fan and want a piece of golf history, this listing is all that you are looking for. Yup, this luxury home that Watson has put on the market used to belong to one of golf's biggest names, Tiger Woods! It's where Woods spent sleepless nights regretting the off-the-course scandal that he got himself into which changed his life and career forever.
The purchase price was not disclosed when he got it in 2013, LA Times reported. In his time of ownership, Watson was said to have commissioned a total overhaul of the half-an-acre property.
Built in 2004, the two-storey home welcomes guests through a foyer which opens to an airy high-ceiling living room that is surrounded by walls of picture windows. It boasts 8,000 square feet of living space which is awarded with marble, wood flooring and paneled ceilings. There is the office, family room, the formal dining room, and a kitchen that has a center island.
Entertainment is not a problem in this home, as it has its own game/media room, and home theater that comes complete with tiered seating much like in real cinema houses.
The master bedroom is a room of its own with a sitting room, walk-in closet, and a soaking tub.
Outdoor entertaining also wouldn't be a problem. Just move the sliding door in the main level and you are at the outdoor dining area in a screened patio where everyone can enjoy barbecue and the wet bar.
At 37, and since turning pro in 2003, Watson has 11 PGA Tour wins in his name, including the Masters Tournament victories he bagged in years 2012 and 2014. The golf pro has sure made the most out of his career and made $33.7 million. Win!
