Michael Lohan Arrest: Lohan Surrenders To Cops For Battery Case

Michael Lohan took the high road and surrendered to the police regarding his pending battery case filed by estranged wife Kate Major.

In a video used by the authorities as evidence, it could be heard that there was a loud smack that led to a pained scream from Kate. Prior to this, Lohan's attorneys' defense was Kate was merely lying -- and that she was the one who's abusive between them. He was formally charged for slapping his ex-wife, and he wasn't charged for allegedly slapping his son.

Despite turning himself in, he was recently released from jail with the conditions that he wouldn't try to communicate with Kate in any way. He was given a no contact order for this. Additionally, he will be subjected to random testing as illegal drugs, alcohol, and weapons have been held from him by the court.

New reports say that Michael Lohan wants full custody of his two children with Kate Major. At this moment, the two children are in the safety of his mother's home, and he just declared that he will get the kids back and he'll be seeing them this Christmas. The same incident mentioned above was the root cause as to why the couple lost custody of their kids, because it was evident that their alcohol and substance abuse were taking its toll on both their lives.

While it's good that Michael Lohan is seeing his kids on the holidays, it's not the same story for Kate. He says in an interview "She wants to stay in California. She gets out of treatment on the 27th and it's Logan's [first] birthday on the 31st. This year she wants to stay out for New Year's Eve instead of being home with her son." She is currently serving time for allegedly threatening a lady that she will slit her throat during a coast-to-coast flight.
