The relationships of the doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital might just go to the next level in the second part of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12.
MNR Daily reports that recent behind-the-scenes photos of Kelly McCreary, who plays Maggie, and Giacomo Gianniotti, who plays Andrew, have fans speculating that the two might be taking their relationship in the show to the next level.
In the first few episodes of the show, Maggie regretted sleeping with the young intern at first, but the attraction between the two has been apparent, so it won't be surprising if the two decides to enter into a relationship in the next part of the season. In an interview, McCreary said that her character will evolve and that fans should watch out how her relationship with Andrew will change from awkward to comfortable.
It was also reported earlier that executive producer Shonda Rhimes revealed in an interview that the second part of Season 12 will focus on how Ellen Pompeo's character Meredith will evolve. With that, fans are wondering if the character will find her new love in the person of Martin Henderson's character, Nathan. Inquisitr reports that in an interview with Henderson, he revealed that there is a possibility that his character will get into a relationship with Meredith.
Many fans speculated that Nathan would be Meredith's new love when the two characters shared an elevator scene in the first part of the season. Henderson shared his thoughts on the topic and revealed that it was an interesting scene because Nathan was wondering if Meredith was flirting or just screwing with him. On the other hand, he said that he trusts Shonda's writing and he will do his best to please her and the audience.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 will return on ABC on Feb. 11.
