Kobe Bryant, the shooting guard of NBA team Los Angeles Lakers, has reportedly given his Newport Coast home in California another price chopper to list it at $7.59 million.
This is the second price reduction for the residence. Bryant and his wife Vanessa first put it on market for $8.6 million in August 2013, having purchased it for $1.7 million. The first discount came in April this year when the price was reduced to $7.99 million.
Failing to sell in over four months, the price has been changed again.
Sitting on almost half an acre, the main residence spans an area of 8,471 square feet and counts four bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
Interiors of the home feature high drywall ceilings, sweeping staircases, multiple fireplaces and large glass doors and windows.
The two-story home includes a spacious gym, an office, a theater and a hair salon. Outside, the home has a large heart-shaped swimming pool and a spa, a sprawling lawn, an outdoor kitchen and a fire pit.
"Set behind massive private gates in a prestigious guard gated community is this recently expanded, reconstructed and highly upgraded custom estate," the listing describes the "Mediterranean Estate."
Jordan Cohen of Re/Max Olson & Associates Inc is representing the home.
The couple sold off another residence in Newport Coast last year. The home was a present from Bryant in 2011, just a month after Vanessa filed for divorce. However, she decided to sell the mansion and listed it for $3.75 million in September 2012. The price of the property was cut twice before it actually sold for $3.22 million.
They still have another house in the area, where they reside. Apparently, Kobe hates the traffic in Los Angeles and, therefore, just takes a private jet flight home!
