Naughty Dog's "Uncharted 4" is taking risks just like its protagonist Nathan Drake in its latest promotion.
Just like Blizzard's "Overwatch," the theatrical trailer for "Uncharted 4" is playing in select theaters, prior to the screening of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." According to Coming Soon, the upcoming title from Naughty Dog and Sony is set three years after the story of "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception." Just when Nathan Drake has already dropped the ball on fortune hunting, Drake's brother Sam shows up seeking Drake's help to save his own life. In turn he offers Drake an adventure which he could not turn down.
"Uncharted 4" follows the hunt for Captain Henry Avery's long-lost treasure. Sam and Drake embark on a mission to find Libertalia, the pirate paradise located in the forests of Madagascar. "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will give fans the experience of a global journey through cities, jungles and mountains in search for Captain Henry Avery's riches.
For those who have not seen the theatrical trailer of "Uncharted 4" because it is showing only in selected theaters, you can watch it right here.
The trailer shows a 360 degrees first person view perspective of a world that's crumbling down. In the beginning of the 30-second clip, Nathan is shown trying to grab a cold coin spinning in midair. In the end, Nathan lets go of his sight of that coin in order to save Sam from falling. The clip ends with a "pre-order now" message.
"Uncharted 4" is the fourth installment in the "Uncharted" series. The game is exclusive to PlayStation 4 and is scheduled for release on March 18, 2016. Pre-ordering the game will give players several perks like instant access to multiplayer items, Uncharted Points (in-game currency) and PS4 Dynamic Theme to name a few.
