Jodie Foster, the "Silence of the Lambs" actress, has finally managed to sell off her home in Hollywood Hills for a little under $5 million.
Property records show that Foster's residence closed sale Oct. 06 for $4.99 million. Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency was the listing agent of the house. The buyers were represented by Conrad Hitchcock of Hilton & Hyland.
Foster, 50, purchased the home in 1997 and first listed the place in 2013 after giving the home a makeover. The residence debuted for $6.4 million in June 2013 but the price was slashed down to $5.9 million that September. It was delisted in December last year only to resurface go on and off two more time.
Finally, the home came up for $5.6 million in July this year again and was discounted to $4.99 million, and was sold for that price.
The residence is a Spanish-styled villa built in 1937. Comprised of five bedrooms and six bathrooms, the 6,060-square-foot, single-family residence sits on a 0.29-acre lot.
The home comes with an office and an attached guest suite. Adjacent to a formal dining room, a butler's pantry leads to a stunning kitchen. A luxurious master suite features a sitting area, walk-in closets, a fireplace and a sauna.

News of the sale comes months after Foster got hitched to Alexandra Hedison, who also sold her home in Hollywood hills for $3.16 million in June this year. Foster and Hedison reportedly plan on starting a family now.
