"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" first DLC will be out next month. Even though gamers aren't that happy about the plot of the game, many are still looking forward to it especially with the new four maps confirmed for release.
The appeal of the game came from its feature of allowing multi-players but not on the storyline which disappointed fans.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" developed by Treyarch is said to be "having a hard time with the current-generation consoles. However, the developer is willing to face this head on," Cross Map wrote.
New reports reveal that four maps that are confirmed for release on "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" next year. The maps are for multiplayers and will be released on Jan. 26, 2016. Said maps are dubbed the "Awakening" which includes Gauntlet, Rise, Splash, and Skyjacked.
For the Gauntlet map, it is set in a military training facility showing the classic three lane map structure featuring a distinct variety in visuals and game play. But each lane has a unique environment wherein players will face battles in the jungle, sub-zero arctic zone and a rainy city.
Splash map is grounded in an abandoned water theme park. Expect the environment to show wrecked pirate ship, a lay river ride and others. It will also feature an underwater gameplay.
The Rise map shows the snowy outskirts of Zurich which has a mix of classic Call of Duty cover combat and gamers will experience a different gameplay in each section. "Rise is a Coalescence Corporation construction project for a massive subterranean research campus," Coming Soon reported.
The last map is Skyjacked that is set on the security VTOL in the clouds over urban Zurich. It is said to be "reimagined version of the popular Call of Duty®: Black Ops II multiplayer map Hijacked, and retains the same fast and frenetic gameplay from one of the most popular maps in Call of Duty® history, but with a twist."
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC" Awakening will be first available on PS4 on the day the first map will be release. It will be available for Xbox One and PC, 30 days after. Second DLC for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will probably be available on March 2016.
Meanwhile, a trailer for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC" was recently released by Treyarch.
