Aaron Carter assured his fans that he's "doing alright" but many are still shaken when he went on an emotional rant about his recent breakup. Recently, the 28-year-old singer tweeted a lengthy, detailed message that seemed to show that he could be heading down the road to depression.
During a flight to Chicago, Carter made a revelation on his Twitter account saying, "Has anyone ever had their heartbroken so bad that they feel it in other parts of their body? Like cold feelings in your stomach, emptiness? Love is the toughest thing I deal with in my life. I'm constantly misunderstood and judged for my past, I'm a really sensitive guy and yes jealous and insecure at times cause I know I'm a skinny dude. All of the anxiety stuff I've been through has been about my relationship, I've just hid it from you all."
Carter added that he always tries to be a better version of himself but he admitted that his heart was left "shattered" after his split that left him "completely devastated." He didn't mention any names but he called out his ex-girlfriend for not hearing his feelings.
"Don't ever be with anyone who doesn't want to hear your feelings. It will always end bad. It did for me," Carter continued. "Be with someone who is compassionate and cares about making you feel happy. You should never be with someone who tells you to 'shut the f*up' because you're annoyed cause you couldn't talk to them for 7 hours when I'm NOT even being disrespectful myself. You should never be with someone who hangs up on you and leaves you feeling unsettled or unresolved all because they're too immature to handle confrontation like an adult... I'm sick of it."
Aaron Carter's post elicited encouraging responses from his fans. He also tweeted last December 22 that he was going to meet a "very special woman."
