'Frozen 2' Release Date Rumor: 'Frozen''s Highly Anticipated Sequel Won't Be Released Until 2018

The "Frozen 2" plot, cast, and even the release date are now being talked about on all social media platforms. "Frozen" fans, however, won't be seeing the sequel until 2018 -- or so the rumor goes.

Youth Health Magazine reported that the major cast of "Frozen" will return for their roles to create the sequel of the worldwide blockbuster hit in 2013. Fans are very much eager to know what the directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have in store for them.

Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell, the two ladies who played Elsa and Anna respectively, will be returning and previously mentioned that they are excited and thrilled to work on the sequel of "Frozen."

The report added, "They expressed that they feel happy and excited to be back in every audiences' heartbeat with the sequel of 'Frozen.' The directors of original movie Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee will direct 'Frozen 2.'"

What is surprising is that Anna and Elsa will have a major makeover for the new movie. According to the same source, the outfits will be changed in the sequel with a trend. This is Disney Merchandise's marketing strategy to sell their dresses as items in the store. By including these designs in the characters' outfits, it would boost their sales.

At the moment, Disney has yet to release any official details about the plot as well as the proposed release date for "Frozen 2." Yet, there are a lot of speculations out about having a strong issue to include in its overall idea. But it remains ideal for young people to watch.

"We now have an overall idea, a concept, which I think is a very strong one. I'm very excited about doing it," Buck added, "I don't think any of us take [them] lightly, even though they can be very funny and entertaining, the messages that our movies have and the influence they can have on young people."

"When the kids [watch] them, they watch them over and over again, and if we don't have a decent message in there, I think we've missed an opportunity," he continued.

MNR Daily stated that the sequel will more likely dwell on Elsa's powers. Her discovery on her own powers is led from something tragic that might happen in the movie. The audience should expect something far more intense in the sequel with a dose of laughter.

Aside from the famous "Let It Go" song originally sung by Idina Menzel, there will be a new song which will be sung by the two sisters powerfully. Based from the report, it is more on "being stronger together" theme.
