Craig Ferguson, the Emmy-winning host of "The Late Late Show", has reportedly dropped $5.6 million on a plush waterfront home in Malibu, Calif.
The Real Estalker (via Variety) broke news of the purchase noting that Ferguson paid for the home through a blind trust. Citing trusted sources, the blog reveals that the seller is a Arizona-based restaurateur who gave the home a slight makeover before flipping it for sale.
Property records show that the home last sold for $4.47 million in 2013 and came up for sale in June this year for about $5.7 million. Ferguson seems to have snagged the place for a slight discount.
The residence is a 3,184-square-foot, single-family house that comprises of three bedrooms and four bathrooms.
The interiors do look a little dated in style featuring light hardwood flooring, drywall ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass windows and slider doors.
There are open living spaces and an eat-in kitchen in the house. Outside, it has a brick patio for entertaining and a deck that opens out to the ocean. The listing called the house a perfect beach house.

That home is a 6,676-square-foot, single-family residence comprising of eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Built in 1909, the home boasts of classic modern architecture with French doors and windows and wood beamed ceilings, and hardwood flooring.
Just before he purchased the house, he sold another home in Hollywood Hills for around $1.74 million.
Ferguson joined the CBS late-night lineup in 2005, but his career in showbiz began as a drummer in a British rock band. In the '90s, he captured the audience with his comedic performance as Mr. Wick on "The Drew Carey Show".
