The "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" released its latest patch update and will soon be made available for PS4 and Xbox One. According to reports, this latest update will create tremendous momentum for the gamers this coming holiday season including the new DLC.
"Awakening" DLC is said to launch with new map pack for the diehard "Call of Duty" veteran players around the world. Design & Trend reported that this will be released on February 2, 2016 in PS4. There is no announcement yet at the moment on whether or not this new update will be made available for Xbox One, too.
Mark Kamia, studio head at Treyarch, said that since the Black Ops 3 release last month, a lot of their fans have a great response on the features which created a levelled up gameplay.
"With Awakening, the studio is focused on creating a wide variety of gameplay experience for our fans in multiplayer and zombies that will keep players coming back for more," he said.
The same source also stated that Treyarch, the game developer behind the "Call of Duty" game series, is focused on the underwater and close-quarter combats for their latest map releases.
Multiplayer Maps include the Gauntlet, Splash, Rise, and Skyjacked. For the Zombies, Der Eisendrache is included.
For the Gauntlet, it is grounded with military training facility with a core philosophy of Treyarch's classic three lane map structure with distinct variety in visuals and gameplay. "Each of the three primary lanes has a unique environment as players battle through a sprawling jungle, sub-zero artic zone and rainy urban cityscape."
Splash is set in an abandoned water theme park. The second map is vibran and at the same time a playful map which delivers an imaginative environment complete with waterslides, a wrecked pirate ship, and a lazy river ride. Another adventure players could enjoy in this map is that there will be an open flow combat which includes plenty of opportunities for underwater gameplay.
Another map which the players could get in is the Rise, the third latest map in the update. Based from the given descriptions, this will be based in Zurich particularly in a Coalescence Corporation construction project with massive subterranean research campus. In this map, the players could have a mix of classical "Call of Duty" cover combat with strategic core movement opportunities. They could do a lot of styles of gameplay depending on their mood.
The last map updated was the Skyjacked. This map is set in VTOL in the clouds over the urban Zurich. This is also an imaginative version of the popular "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" multiplayer map 'Hijacked.' The map contained the same version of fast and frenetic gameplay from one of the most popular maps in the COD game history.
For Zombies, Treyarch included Der Eisendrache which is filled with adventures that players would really love. They will be taken to an epic journey with the Origin characters Richtofen, Nicolai, Takeo, and Dempsey. This is set in an eerie medieval castle with an ancient site of unspeakable horror, massive deposits of Element 114. There will be a lot of exiting twists in the plot and surprises for the "Call of Duty" PS4, Xbox One gameplay.
