'Outlander' Season 2 News,Cast, Updates: Jamie and Claire Romance Continues, Filming Completed

“Outlander” Season 2 will feature the stronger love of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and reports reveal that the upcoming season has finished filming.

Producers of the highly anticipated show shared a picture of Jamie and Claire who are apparently in love. Jamie wrapped his arms around his wife Claire who is smiling lovingly. Despite the difficulties the two characters encountered in Season 1 especially with Jamie's depression, the romance is still on as Jamie recovered mentally, International Business Times reported.

While in France, the couple will attend glamorous parties as seen in a previous photo wherein the two are dressed for a gathering. Jamie will be meeting noblemen in France with his loyal companion Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix). Compared to the last season, the upcoming season will show the characters in different elaborate costumes as hinted by the photos released in Outlander's Facebook page.

Jamie and Claire travel to France to stop the Jacobite rebellion and they are running from British soldiers who are hunting for them in Season 1.

Meanwhile, this American-British television drama series has completed filming this year for the second season. It will resume early in the new year to film for season three, Cross Map reported.

Heughan posted on Twitter about doing the last episode along with a flame emoji which may manifest how good the second season of "Dragonfly in Amber" could be.

In our previous report, actor Richard Rankin joins the show as Roger, who is one of the major characters in the "Outlander" being the adopted son of Reverend Wakefield. Roger was first seen as a little boy in 1940s and he is now an adult in 1968. He will be romantically linked with the daughter of Claire, Brianna.

“Outlander” Season 2 is expected to debut sometime in March or April 2016 which will feature many French characters since Jamie and Claire will be in France.

It just feels right. #OutlanderOfferings
