Mashashi Kishimoto Not Totally Over With ‘Naruto’ World; Manga Creator Confirms ‘Boruto One-Shot Manga’ In The Works

It is not totally over for Masashi Kishimoto as far as Naruto World is concerned. The manga creator has confirmed that he is working on "Boruto One-shot" manga.

According to Robot 6 Comicbook Resource, it has been announced via Shonen Jump that Naruto manga creator Masashi Kishimoto will be working on "Boruto One-shot" manga. This manga will of course feature the son of Naruto.

Report also says that Masashi Kishimoto will also supervise an upcoming "Boruto" series. This will be written by Ukyō Kodachi, the same person who penned "Boruto: Naruto the Movie." This new series will also be drawn by Mikio Ikemoto, who assisted in drawing Naruto.

From the blog article of Shonen Jump, it is mentioned that both "Boruto One-shot" manga and the new series's debuts will be released at the same time "in the spring in Japan in Weekly Shonen Jump and in North America in Viz Media's Weekly Shonen Jump digital anthology." Also, the succeeding chapters of the said series will be released monthly.

Movie News Guide says that if remembered, a countdown has been set by Shueisha's weekly Shonen Jump through its official website. The said countdown comes with a teaser of a silhouette character that resembles to one of Naruto's characters. And, the teaser came with a tagline, "Next Generation."

This said countdown had ended on Sunday while unveiling the silhouette character. Boviously, it is Boruto. It is noted that the manga "Boruto One-shot" pique the fans curiousity. Noting also its tagline, "it's very intriguing as to how powerful the next generation of ninjas would become, especially Boruto's sister Himawari Uzumaki."

As of the moment, the plot of the upcoming manga of "Boruto" has not yet been disclosed. Many are expecting that it would pick up where the "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" left out, since it would be a sequel.

So there you have it folks! The wait is finally over. Now the fans could sit tight and wait for the spring 2016 to come, and get hold of the first issue of "Boruto One-shot" manga.
