Sharon Stone is not pleased with the work of a construction company who did a major remodel of her Beverly Hills mansion. Along with some interior remodeling, the contractor also did some fancy upgrades for the 57-year-old's home including heated floors, a report from TMZ said.
The "Basic Instinct" actress is suing Zuma Canyon Coeport from TMnstruction which was also the contractor that she hired to upgrade her master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and powder room. The actress said that Zuma's original estimate for the entire project was $225,000.
According to the lawsuit filed by the actress, much of the work that was done on her home was a screw up. She cited one problem that she has encountered and it was regarding her heated floors. The controls to this major flooring upgrade were installed in the shower which exposes them to water intrusion. Still another water trouble was a puncture in the floor of the shower area which eventually led to leaks.
Aside from the faulty work that was done in the bathroom, the contractor also made a serious mistake. the construction company did not even procure city permits for the project.
The actress is now suing Zuma Canyon and other sub-contractors for unspecified damages. TMZ tried to reach Zuma Canyon Construction but received no word yet about the matter.
