Is there a chance that "Big Bang Theory" fans get to see Sheldon's grandmother "Meemaw" in the following episodes?
The ninth installment of the nerd comedy "Big Bang Theory" is not yet over and there are still a lot more giggly adventures that the viewers of the CBS show are anticipating to see. Some of which are the number of characters that was spoken about in the show but has not made an appearance on the program just like Sheldon's Meemaw. But is there a chance that showrunners will inject actors to portray these characters as the show goes along?
Inquisitr details how "Big Bang Theory" season 9 showrunners Steven Molaro and Chuck Lorre explained the possibility for these characters to appear on the show.
"There are still a lot of characters out there in this world that we've never met that I'm still excited, over the next season and a half, to get a chance to do something about. We've never met Penny's mom, Leonard's dad, Sheldon's Meemaw or Howard's dad - and that's a big tentpole that's still floating out there," Molaro said from the outlet (via THR).
"Meemaw" as revealed throughout the series was Sheldon's grandmother although the viewers have not yet seen this character. The character "Meemaw" was first introduced in the second season of "Big Bang Theory" in the episode entitled "The Terminator Decoupling" and one notable thing about "Meemaw" is that she calls Sheldon as "Moonpie."
Jim Parsons who plays the role of Sheldon once said to Zap2it in 2010 that he wants "The Proposal" actress Betty White to portray the role of Meemaw in TBBT.
"Betty White's [on my guest star wish list]," Parsons said from the outlet. "She's been everywhere though lately. I don't even know if we could get her between her Snickers commercials and 'SNL'... she'd be a wonderful mee-ma."
Although there is no doubt that Betty White is the best grandma to portray "Meemaw," there are still no final announcement yet regarding this. Hopefully, "Big Bang Theory" season 9 or the upcoming seasons of the series will get to introduce in person this character.
