The long wait is over for most curious Xbox Tomb Raider fans. Just recently, the tech giant Microsoft released a free demo of the game for amateur and pro gamers to try. However, the said playable demo is still limited with Xbox One and still no updates for Xbox 360. As of the moment, there are still no words from the developer Crystal Dynamics on whether a demo for Xbox 360 would be coming or not.
The said game which was first released last November had some good reviews with it. According to ndtv, they "gave it a 7 out of 10, on account of 'the narrative [being] one of the high points of this game' but 'a short campaign and threadbare replayability' wasn't enough to justify its high price point.
However, for the said price concern, one may simply check for some discount this holiday season, especially that Christmas and New Year are almost at our doorstep. And for the said demo, fans may simply go the online store of Xbox and choose the "Try it Free" option.
By pressing that particular option you will be led in to a portion of the game which is not yet disclosed by the developer. It is somehow very unusual for a game demo not having any details about it, even if it is a free one. Guess a player should try it on his own and check what's in and what's not with Rise of the Tomb Raider.
From an overall perspective, the positive review since the game came out should itch oneself to try the free demo of the game. With most critics praising the action and exploration aspect of the game, it would likely best for you to have your own piece of the said action and check whether "Rise of the Tomb Raider" will rise up to your bar of expectation.
