Online retailer giant Amazon has announced on Wednesday that "Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" and the "Wolf Link" Amiibo figure can be pre-ordered online, a report from Latinone said.
According to the report, players can purchase "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" on Wii U for only $60. It was said that both the game and the Amiibo figures will be released exclusively for Wii U on March 4, 2016.
"In the game, series protagonist Link must re-establish the kingdom of Hyrule from a corrupted dimension called the Twilight Realm. Link has numerous weapons to choose from, but this time he also has the power to transform into a wolf, an ability that gives him an advantage when it comes to detecting clues. Next year's Wii U version of "Zelda: Twilight Princess" is essentially an HD remaster, which means that there are no new missions or subplots. But Nintendo still provided new things to make playing the game a fresh experience, such as a new Amiibo figurine modeled after the game's characters," the report said.
It can be recalled that the game was originally slated to be released back in 2006 for the Wii console. The game was also rolled out in Nintendo GameCube. However, it was noted that the Wii console is not capable of producing high-quality visuals that are comparable to Nintendo's recent Wii U console platform.
Tech Insider reports that Nintendo will announce in the coming months how the Amiibo will be utilized in the game. However, it was stressed that the players will be able to import data across the game. Aside from the Amiibo figures, the company will also release an official soundtrack for the game.
"The 'Zelda: Twilight Princess HD' will also showcase five other Nintendo Amiibo figurines, which are all fashioned after the "Legend of Zelda" characters, such as Toon Link and Zelda herself," the report said.
