Latest 'Bloodborne' Patch Enables Players To Trade Blood Rocks and Easily Upgrade Weapons

"Bloodborne" fans just received a Christmas treat as the recent update has reportedly fixed one of the game's concerns.

Based on a previous report, "Bloodborne" got a massive patch in preparation for the "Old Hunter's Tale" expansion. However following that patch, players still had one lingering concern. That predicament from the fact that there are only 15 base weapons to choose from. Thus more players end up looking similar in game. Aesthetically, more weapons would mean more variety and uniqueness.

According to Kotaku, "The Old Hunter's Tale," which went live in November, added nine more base weapons, driving the number up to 24. Still for most players who want to look distinct in the game and compare it with the previous "Bloodborne" releases, this number is quite too little.

Thus players will be delighted to know that FromSoftware just dropped a new patch yesterday that makes trading for the Blood Rock now possible. According to Trusted Reviews, Blood Rocks are what players would need in order to upgrade or max out individual weapons in the game. This means more customization options. The other news is that Blood Rocks can now be bought, whereas previously they can only be obtained by playing through the game. For this, Blood Rocks are worth 60 Insights from the game's Insight Shop.

While the complete list of patch notes can be found in the Bloodborne website, here are some other notable changes:

- Changes to weapons - The strength and stamina cost for several weapons has been adjusted.

- Changes to Insight Shop

- In order to trade for the Blood stone Chuck, the necessary amount of Insight has been changed from 30 to 20.

It has been noted in the website that "certain portion of the main game must been cleared in order to access the above."

"Bloodborne" is exclusive to PS4.
