Ne-Yo Drops $520,000 on ‘Hobby Farm’ in Georgia

Ne-Yo, the "Let me Love You" hitmaker, has reportedly dropped $520,000 on a "hobby farm" in Alpharetta, Ga.

TMZ exclusively broke news of the property purchase noting that it is a five-bedroom, three-bathroom place. The home reportedly sits on 2 acres of farmland, allowing for ample farming activity.

TMZ has some pictures of the home. Interiors of the residence show hardwood flooring, high drywall and industrial ceilings and large glass doors and windows.

The home has a large eat-in kitchen with granite counter-tops and custom cabinetry. The master suite has a fancy luxury bathroom and huge walk-in closets. The residence also has large living spaces including a family room and a bonus recreation area.

Surrounded by greenery, the home has exterior decks and a parking garage as well.

News of the purchase comes just a year after Ne-Yo and his fiancé Monyetta split. Ne-Yo announced the separation in a very public post on Instagram captioning it:

"Tho fate has decided to split our romantic paths, Know that I will always love you. Forever your partner ... forever your friend. Forever my miracle."

But, Monyetta told Sister 2 Sister magazine that they had broken up two months before that.

"We talked about it and I told him, 'I think it's a great idea to just get your publicist, just come out with a statement. That will be the classy way to do it.' For whatever reason, he chose to do it his way BET weekend and the world went crazy," she said.

"He did and it stung a little; however, he was at home the week after and we sat down and discussed everything. It wasn't crazy, fussing and fighting type thing. We're two adults, and we handle ourselves in that way. Yes, emotions were high. I didn't see it coming, but people change," she added.
