With the Wrestlemania set to happen next year, rumors of The Rock appearing in a cameo role has been spreading but the former WWE star immediately cleared that he will not be participating because he is taking care of his "million dollar face."
In an ambush interview with TMZ, Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, ended talks that he will be part of Wrestlemania next year.
"I don't think so," this was his response to the query whether he will be participating in the said event.
An earlier report by Wrestling Inc sparked the rumors as it noted that there is a "very good chance" that The Rock will appear in WrestleMania 31 but one of the main hindrances in this plan would be the "pressure from movie studios."
It can be remembered that when Johnson faced John Cena twice, he suffered mild to serious injuries and even required surgery. The incident caused the filming of "Hercules" to be put on hold. Wrestle Inc noted that with the recent signing of the wrestler turned Hollywood actor to various projects, his inclusion in wrestling events may not seem possible at this time.
In a similar report, Wrestling Inc noted that the big wrestling event next year, which is set to happen at the Levis Stadium in Santa Clara California, will also feature other wrestlers like Sting, Triple H, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.
It is still unknown whether Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton have fights planned for them.
More rumors on The Rock's WWE return
Meanwhile, Wrestle Zone speculated that one of the big events could feature The Rock, Sting or Undertaker.
"WWE is currently planning spots for two special guests. The first is most likely The Rock, and the second is expected to be Sting. The Undertaker hasn't ruled out 'one more match', but also hasn't settled one way or another. Sting has stated in the past that if he couldn't work with the 'Deadman' at WrestleMania 31, he'd like a match with Triple H," the report stated.
The expected main event, Wrestle Zone added, is Lesnar defending his WWE World Heavyweight Championship title against Reigns while Cena is set to face Alexander Rusev.
With the anticipation for this big wrestling event, fans are now dying to know where they can purchase tickets. Well, WrestleMania announced that tickets are available at TwoMoreTickets. It noted that these are available at the following categories: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Champions, Undertaker, Raw, Emerald, Show of Shows, Platinum, Diamond and VIP.
Along with these, travel packages are also available at the WWE website and are priced from $900 (Silver) to $5,500 (California Dreamin Package). The package includes the tickets, accommodation and transportation of those who will purchase.
