Cartoon Network recently announced the return date of "Steven Universe" Season 2. Fans have been excitedly waiting for news about the show's return on TV, especially after the series went on a winter break, just six episodes after its mid-season hiatus. Now, it looks like viewers will get more than they wished for, as Movie Pilot reported that the show will be airing another Steven Bomb.

What's a Steven Bomb, you ask?

"A Steven Bomb happens when the lovely people over at Cartoon Network think we just haven't had enough of our 'Steven Universe' fix," the outlet reported. This means that fans and viewers will be treated to one whole week of new episodes starting on Jan. 4, 2016.

"Steven Universe" Season 2 will be returning with an episode titled, "The Answer" which will show Garnet retelling her story about her past and how she became a Crystal Gem. The episode will be followed by "Steven's Birthday," wherein fans will see Steven realize that he needs to grow up while he celebrates his birthday at the barn.

"It Could've Been Great" will show The Gems go on a journey to the moon while "Message Received" will show Steven share his doubts about putting his trust in everyone. The Steven Bomb will be concluding in an episode titled "Log Date 7 15 2." The outlet noted that the "Log Date" episode may offer more information about Peridot.

Meanwhile, Inverse reported that "Steven Universe" has a huge fan following, not just among kids, but also among adults. The publication described the show as "a rare cartoon written for children with an interesting enough plot to keep adults engaged."
