Madonna Took Matters to Court After Son Refuses to Go Home for Holidays

Madonna made the headlines as it was reported that she went to court to have her son go home for the holidays. As per Fox News, Madonna's 15-year-old son Rocco is currently with his father, Guy Ritchie, in London and refuses to go home to his mother. This being said, the singer took matters into court to have her son hop on the plane and spend the holiday break with her.

After Madonna filed the appeal, it was stated that Deborah Kaplan, the Manhattan Supreme Court Justice ordered Rocco to come home. As per Guy Ritchie's attorney, David Typermass, however it was Rocco himself that does not want to go home and spend the holidays with his mother.

"He has expressed very clearly that he does not want to return to New York."

Though the judge already ordered Rocco to go home, a source told Page Six that Madonna's 15-year-old is not getting along with his mother.

"This is a 15½-year-old strapping young kid, so we'll see, the boy said he didn't want to stay with her, he's not getting along with his mom, which is not a surprise for a child that age."

Rocca has been on tour with Madonna on her Rebel Heart tour since August. During her interview with Entertainment Weekly, the "Like a Virgin" singer shared that her son doesn't want to hop in the spotlight just yet as he's not interested in joining her on stage. Rocco was just 14 at that time.

"I think he's probably gonna work behind the scenes, He's not interested in performing on stage with me right now. There's way cooler things. Your mom is not that cool when you're 14."

As per Page Six, another court proceeding in regards to his custody is also on its way as well as the teen would get to choose as to whether he would live with his mom or his father in London.
