For normal people, horror stories are their worst nightmare, but for some, they crave it. Having haunted houses in a neighborhood are not a new thing, haunted or not, we like to believe that people who once lived in a house and probably died there, stays there.
If you are a horror junkie and you want to live in one of those old haunted houses, this is probably for you.
A Victorian house built in 1912 located in Northern California is for sale, ghosts and spirits included. The house is believed to be haunted by people who lived there before.
According to Realtor, the previous owner, Brad Warner, experienced the entities that live in the house first hand. He was working on his computer when the fire in the fireplace just went out and his computer shut down on its own. The spooky event also happened to top off with the doors opening then closing on its own.
Warner tried talking with the entities. “I want you all to know I am the new owner here. We’re all going to need to work together. I’m going to ask you to not slam the doors any longer. I would like you to don’t mess with the Internet. And by the way, could you put the fire back on.” Then the fire immediately went back to life.
The house hosts seven bedrooms and six bathrooms. It also has its own atrium, attic, media room, office room, storage room, a den, dining area, family room, a formal dining room for special events, its own workshop, and a sun porch. Total number of rooms adds up to 15, as posted on Realtor.
The house is also the inspiration behind the novel “A Mortician’s Wife” written by Maralee Lowder. The Warners turned the place into a bed and breakfast to attract people that would want to experience haunting presence. They call it “Dead and Breakfast."
The 9,000-square-foot house is for sale for $899,000. It is located at 5957 Sacramento Ave, Dunsmuir, CA 96025.
